Astra a failli avoir une fin bien trop prématurée lorsqu'elle s'est retrouvée dans un refuge d'abattage l'année dernière, face à un sort déchirant. Heureusement, elle a été sauvée à temps et a eu la chance de trouver la maison aimante qu'elle mérite vraiment. Elle est une jeune fille magnifique qui pèse environ 28 kg, bien que sa taille soit assez petite pour son poids. Astra est pleine d'énergie joueuse et de confiance, et elle s'entend bien avec les autres chiens. Elle est suffisamment confiante pour être un chien unique, mais elle apprécierait également un ami avec qui jouer ! Son temps passé dans les rues avant d'être brutalement emmenée au refuge d'abattage lui a permis de passer du temps avec des enfants. On la voyait souvent jouer joyeusement avec des enfants. Ce dont elle a le plus besoin, c'est d'une famille patiente et compréhensive. Elle a très peur de la laisse, donc elle aura besoin d'un foyer avec un jardin sécurisé où elle se sentira en sécurité. Des introductions douces et lentes à l'entraînement à la laisse seront essentielles pour l'aider à surmonter sa peur à son propre rythme. Elle prendra probablement du temps pour s'habituer à faire des promenades. Malgré son début difficile, l'esprit d'Astra est brillant, et son cœur est rempli d'amour. Astra’s story could have ended far too soon when she found herself in a kill shelter last year, facing a heartbreaking fate. Thankfully, she was rescued in time and has been given the chance to find the loving home she truly deserves. She is a gorgeous girl who weighs around 28kg, though she’s quite petite in stature for her weight. Astra is full of playful energy and confidence, and she gets along well with other dogs. She is confident enough that she could be an only dog, but equally would enjoy a friend to play with! Her time on the streets before being harshly taken away to the kill shelter allowed her to spend time with children. She was often seen happily playing with children. What she needs most is a patient and understanding family. She is very frightened of the lead, so she will need a home with a secure garden where she can feel safe. Gentle, slow introductions to lead training will be essential to help her overcome her fear at her own pace. She is likely to take time to build up to going for walks. Despite her rough start, Astra’s spirit is bright, and her heart is full of love. Could you be her forever home?
