Petite Millie cherche une maison tranquille avec un jardin sécurisé où elle pourra avoir de la compagnie la plupart du temps. Son nouveau propriétaire devra avoir de la patience car Millie a besoin d'un soutien pour l'entraînement et pourrait avoir des problèmes d'anxiété séparative. Millie est enthousiaste pour accueillir les personnes à la maison, elle se tient sur ses pattes arrière lorsqu'elle est très contente, mais elle est toujours douce. Elle aime être câlinée et caressée, y compris par les enfants s'ils sont également doux. Millie est habituée à sortir dans les pubs et les cafés, elle adore l'attention et les soins qu'on lui prodigue. Millie voyage bien en voiture. Elle ne semble pas être une mangeuse fréquente et est contente de ses repas fixes le matin et le soir. Millie va bien chez le toiletteur et le vétérinaire. Elle est heureuse d'être examinée/peignée etc à la maison et laissera même couper ses pattes. Millie aura besoin d'aide pour l'habituage à la maison, un rappel pourrait être nécessaire en raison des changements qu'elle traverse. Millie peut aboyer face à des bruits inconnus. Pendant les promenades, Millie porte un harnais (elle s'est échappée d'un collier auparavant). Elle peut avoir peur des autres chiens selon leur taille et comment ils s'approchent d'elle. Elle peut tirer avec un harnais et est si motivée qu'elle marchera sur ses pattes arrière, et elle veut constamment se faufiler latéralement. Elle n'a pas de rappel et lorsqu'on s'approche d'elle, elle recule, elle semble parfois très nerveuse lorsqu'on la touche. Millie adore jouer, elle est intelligente et pourrait apprendre de nouvelles astuces. Millie serait peut-être mieux adaptée à une seule personne ou même un couple car elle apprécie le réconfort d'avoir quelqu'un près d'elle. Little Millie is looking for a quiet home with a secure garden where she can have company most of the time. Her new owner will need to have patience as Millie needs some training support and might have separation anxiety. Millie is excited to greet people to the home, will stand with her paws up as she gets very happy, but she is always gentle. She loves to be cuddled and petted, including by children if they are also gentle. Millie is used to going out to pubs and cafes, she loves the attention and being fussed over by anyone. Millie travels well in the car. She does not seem to be a grazer and is happy with her set breakfast and dinner. Millie is fine going to the groomers and vets. She is happy to be examined/brushed etc at home and will even let you trim her paws. Millie will need help with house training in her new home, a refresher might be needed due to the changes she is going through. Millie can bark at unfamiliar sounds. On walks, Millie wears a harness (she has escaped from a collar before). She can be frightened of other dogs depending on their size and how they approach her. She can pull with a harness and is so keen she will walk along on her back paws, and she wants to weave side to side constantly. She has no recall and when people approach her, she backs off, she appears to be very nervous to be touched sometimes. Millie loves playing, she is bright and could learn new tricks. Millie might be best suited to a single person or even a couple as she likes the reassurance of having someone close by.
