Mira, born approximately 2017, spayed, approximately 50 cm shoulder height, in the shelter since approximately 2020 Mira was taken by Maria from one of the public animal shelters because she was sitting in a corner completely terrified. Even in Maria's shelter, she has not been able to overcome her panic of humans and keeps as much distance as possible. Over the years, Mira has aged and her stress is evident. As shown in the videos, she is actually a calm dog, but she avoids human contact. We wish for her a home with empathetic and experienced people who can show her what a good dog life is like in peace and without time pressure or expectations. It should be okay in her new home if she never wants to go for a walk or cuddle like a normal dog. Maybe she will be good for one or more positive surprises. At least a confident first dog, as well as a securely fenced garden with direct access to the house are basic requirements. Since Mira has only poor placement chances, we would be very happy if someone takes a sponsorship for her. Currently located in Romania and allowed to travel out if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival in the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 09/2024 Futterpatenschaft: - Tierarztpatenschaft: - Mira, geboren ca. 2017, kastriert, ca. 50 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit ca. 2020 Mira wurde von Maria aus einem der öffentlichen Tierheime geholt, weil sie dort völlig verängstigt in einer Ecke saß. Auch in Marias Shelter konnte sie ihre Panik vor dem Menschen bisher nicht ablegen und hält möglichst viel Abstand. Über die Jahre hat Mira abgebaut und ist stark gealtert, man sieht ihr den Dauerstress sehr an. Wie auf den Videos zu sehen, ist sie eigentlich eine ruhige Hündin, die jedoch menschlichem Kontakt ausweicht. Wir wünschen uns für sie ein Zuhause bei einfühlsamen und erfahrenen Menschen, die ihr in Ruhe und ohne Zeitdruck oder Erwartungshaltung zeigen, was ein gutes Hundeleben ist. Es sollte in ihrem neuen Zuhause okay sein, wenn sie nie wie ein normaler Hund Gassi gehen oder kuscheln will. Vielleicht ist sie dann für die eine oder andere positive Überraschung gut. Mindestens ein souveräner Ersthund, sowie ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus sind Grundvoraussetzungen. Da Mira nur schlechte Vermittlungschancen hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Patenschaft für sie übernimmt. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn sie ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
