Naomi est une belle chienne de 3 ans, un lurcher, qui recherche un foyer composé uniquement d'adultes, où elle pourra s'installer à son propre rythme et créer un lien solide avec sa famille. Elle est une fille affectueuse et sensible qui prospère dans un environnement calme, avec des limites claires et des propriétaires familiers avec les lévriers ou les races ayant un fort instinct de prédateur. Elle devra être seule dans le foyer, car elle préfère avoir son propre espace et peut se sentir submergée en partageant son environnement avec d'autres chiens. Cependant, lors des promenades, elle est capable de socialiser correctement avec des chiens de taille similaire et apprécie les interactions calmes et contrôlées. Comme beaucoup de lurchers, Naomi a un fort instinct de prédateur et est promenée avec un collier de muselière pour sa sécurité. Elle bénéficie également de la promenade avec une harnais, car elle peut tirer sur la laisse, mais elle marche bien plus confortablement et calmement avec l'équipement adéquat et une bonne gestion. Les déplacements peuvent être stressants et accablants pour elle, donc tout nouveau propriétaire doit être prêt à l'aider à développer sa confiance progressivement et éviter les trajets inutiles pendant qu'elle s'installe.

In the right home, Naomi has the potential to be a deeply loyal and rewarding companion who will form a close connection with her people. She just needs someone willing to understand her and give her the security she deserves. Naomi is a beautiful 3-year-old Greyhound searching for a patient, adult-only home where she can settle in at her own pace and build a strong bond with her people. She’s an affectionate and sensitive girl who thrives in a calm environment with clear boundaries and understanding owners familiar with sighthound or high-prey-drive breeds. She will need to be the only dog in the home, as she prefers having her own space and can become overwhelmed sharing her environment with other dogs. However, out on walks she is able to socialise appropriately with dogs of a similar size and enjoys calm, controlled interactions. Like many Greyhounds, Naomi has a strong prey drive and is walked wearing a muzzle for safety. She also benefits from walking on a harness, as she can pull on the lead, though she walks much more comfortably and calmly with the right equipment and handling. Travel can be stressful and overwhelming for her, so any new owners should be prepared to help her build confidence gradually and avoid unnecessary journeys while she settles in.
