Oreo et Moon sont arrivés au centre après un changement de situation pour leur ancien propriétaire. Compréhensiblement, la transition a été difficile pour eux, et ils sont souvent trouvés roulés en boule ensemble dans leurs endroits de cachette préférés lorsqu'il y a des personnes autour. Au fil du temps, les deux chats ont commencé à gagner en confiance dans leur nouvel environnement. Ils commencent à explorer plus leurs espaces et à apprécier les friandises offertes par le personnel, bien qu'ils ne soient pas encore à l'aise avec l'interaction physique. Avant d'avoir passé environ un an à l'extérieur en raison de circonstances hors de leur contrôle, Oreo et Moon étaient des chats intérieurs qui appréciaient la compagnie et l'attention de leurs maîtres. Nous espérons que, avec le temps et la patience, leur côté sociable ressortira. Pour l'instant, Oreo et Moon cherchent des adoptants qui leur permettront de s'installer à leur propre rythme, et peu à peu découvrir ce que signifie être dans un foyer aimant. Nous demandons que toute affection qu'ils choisiront de montrer à l'avenir soit vue comme un bonus plutôt qu'une attente. Oreo and Moon arrived at the centre after a change in circumstance for their previous owner. Understandably, the transition has been difficult for them, and they are often found curled up together in their favourite hiding spots when people are around. Over time, both cats have started to grow in confidence within their new environment. They are beginning to explore their spaces more and enjoy treats from staff, although they are not yet comfortable with physical interaction. Before spending around a year living outdoors due to circumstances beyond their control, Oreo and Moon were indoor cats who enjoyed company and attention from their owners. We hope that, with time and patience, their sociable sides will show. For now Oreo and Moon are looking for adopters who will allow them to settle at their own pace, and to overtime learn what being in a loving home is like again. We ask that any affection they choose to show in the future should be seen as a bonus rather than an expectation.
