Otto cherche un foyer actif où il sera le seul animal de compagnie, idéalement dans une zone plus calme avec peu de chiens. Otto présente parfois des comportements réactifs en présence d'autres chiens et préférerait faire des promenades loin de la foule. Ses nouveaux adoptants devront être à l'aise pour le promener en laisse et en muselière lorsqu'ils partent en exploration. Il pourrait vivre avec des enfants âgés de 14 ans ou plus qui sont à l'aise avec un terrier plein de personnalité ! Otto conviendra à quelqu'un qui comprend l'énergie des terriers, qui apprécie de travailler avec un chien qui a sa propre tête et qui est prêt à investir du temps pour l'aider à se sentir installé et en sécurité. Avec de la patience, de la structure et de la compréhension, Otto récompensera ses maîtres par beaucoup de caractère, de charme et ces merveilleux petits moments qui font que les terriers sont si spéciaux. Otto est un Jack Russell Terrier de 6 ans qui est un garçon aventureux à la recherche d'adoptants motivés à continuer son éducation ! C'est un véritable cerveau qui adore son éducation, et il apprend très rapidement aussi. Il est constamment curieux et adore rien de plus qu'une bonne odeur, suivie d'une soudaine et enthousiaste séance de zoomies juste pour le plaisir ! C'est un très gentil garçon qui apprécie d'interagir avec les gens, qu'il s'agisse de jeux ou de jouets favoris.

This clever little terrier is looking for a calm, understanding home where his quirks are embraced and his confidence can continue to grow. A secure garden would be perfect for Otto, giving him somewhere safe to continue his housetraining and enjoy a good potter and sniff. As a talented little escape artist and a flight risk around open doors, he'll need owners who are mindful of keeping him safe and secure in the home. Otto would be happiest in a more rural setting or a quiet village where he can enjoy peaceful walks away from other dogs. He would love a family with secondary school aged children or older who understand the importance of respecting his space, not overhandling him, and who are happy for adults to take the lead on his walks. Best of all, Otto genuinely loves people, so frequent visitors to the home are perfect for him! A six year old Jack Russell Terrier, Otto is a very sweet boy with a huge personality and an even bigger heart! Once Otto knows you, you'll have a loyal little shadow who is always happy to see his favourite people. He likes a fuss on his own terms and enjoys gentle strokes around his chest and neck. Otto is a very bright boy and wonderfully food motivated, making him a joy to train. Sniffy walks, scent games and stuffed Kongs are among his favourite ways to keep his busy brain occupied. Although Otto finds seeing other dogs overwhelming, he's already learnt some brilliant training skills to help him cope and adopters will continue to receive support after adoption. Behind those big feelings is an incredibly lovely, funny and characterful ball of energy who greets everyone with enthusiasm. His playfulness is wonderfully balanced with the ability to chill beside you after a day of adventures. With patience, structure and understanding, Otto will reward his people with plenty of character, charm and those wonderful little moments that make terriers so special.
