Arrived at the shelter following abandonment related to an unwanted litter. Pastèque is a young hamster who is greedy, curious and dynamic. She loves exploring her environment and shows great appetite during care moments. Hamsters are solitary animals and must live alone in their habitat to avoid stress and conflicts. Like all hamsters, she has essential needs: large living space, deep litter for digging tunnels, appropriate-sized wheel for exercise, hiding places and enrichments for exploration, proper varied diet, calm and patience to build trust. She's a sensitive animal needing space, respect for her rhythm (rather nocturnal) and a secure environment.
