Pembe semble être le genre de chien qui se réveille chaque matin déjà excité à l'idée d'être en vie. Elle est jeune, énergique, joueuse et constamment en mouvement, avec un caractère qui remplit chaque pièce qu'elle entre. Un moment elle court en jouant, le suivant elle grimpe sur les genoux de quelqu'un pour attirer l'attention, puis soudainement elle a repéré quelque chose d'autre qui l'intéresse et disparaît dans cette direction. Lorsqu'on l'a trouvée, Pembe était affamée et luttait pour survivre seule à un arrêt de bus. Il est impossible de savoir combien de temps elle avait attendu là ou quelle vie elle avait eue avant son sauvetage, mais quoi qu'elle ait vécu, cela n'a clairement pas entamé son amour pour les humains ou son enthousiasme pour la vie. En fait, elle semble maintenant déterminée à rattraper le temps perdu. Elle adore absolument les gens et aborde les interactions humaines avec une ouverture totale et de l'excitation. L'attention, l'affection, le mouvement, le jeu, tout est merveilleux dans le monde de Pembe. Elle a un caractère expressif émotionnellement tel que l'on peut presque voir chaque pensée se produire en direct. Bien qu'elle ne soit pas techniquement petite, elle est toujours certainement plus petite et suffisamment compacte pour s'adapter facilement à la plupart des maisons. Ce qu'elle manque en taille physique, elle le compense entièrement par son énergie et son caractère. Pembe n'est pas un petit chien calme qui dort tranquillement toute la journée. Elle est vive, curieuse, excitée et pleinement engagée dans tout ce qui se passe autour d'elle. Étant encore jeune et si énergique, les futurs adoptants devront s'attendre à un chien qui bénéficiera grandement d'une routine, d'activités, de jeux et d'une guidance continue. Les chiens comme Pembe prospèrent lorsqu'ils reçoivent des canaux adaptés pour leur énergie ainsi qu'une cohérence et une interaction positive. Sans suffisamment de stimulation, elle inventerait certainement sa propre forme de divertissement. En même temps, il y a quelque chose d'extrêmement aimable dans son enthousiasme désordonné. Pembe est émotionnellement honnête de la manière la plus pure possible. Elle aime ouvertement, joue sincèrement et ressent la joie avec tout son corps. Même après avoir eu un début de vie si difficile, elle est parvenue à rester complètement optimiste face au monde qui l'entoure. Elle mérite une maison où son caractère dynamique sera apprécié plutôt que vu comme « trop beaucoup ». Une maison où elle pourra enfin cesser de survivre et simplement profiter d'être jeune, aimée, en sécurité et intégrée à la vie quotidienne. Sous tout cet enthousiasme se cache simplement un chien qui attendait affamé et seul à un arrêt de bus espérant que quelqu'un la remarque. Maintenant qu'elle a eu une seconde chance, elle en profite absolument pleinement.

Pembe feels like the sort of dog who wakes up every morning already excited to be alive. She is young, energetic, playful, and constantly moving, with the kind of personality that fills every room she enters. One moment she is racing around playing, the next she is climbing into someone’s lap for attention, and then suddenly she has spotted something else exciting and disappeared off in that direction instead. When she was found, Pembe was starving and struggling to survive alone at a bus stop. It is impossible to know how long she had been waiting there or what kind of life she had before rescue, but whatever she experienced clearly did not take away her love for humans or her enthusiasm for life. In fact, she now seems determined to make up for lost time. She absolutely adores people and approaches human interaction with complete openness and excitement. Attention, affection, movement, playtime, everything is wonderful in Pembe’s world. She has the sort of emotionally expressive personality where you can almost see every thought happening in real time. Although she is not technically tiny, she is still definitely on the smaller side and compact enough to fit easily into most homes. What she lacks in physical size, however, she makes up for entirely through energy and personality. Pembe is not a calm little lap dog who quietly sleeps through the day. She is lively, curious, excitable, and fully committed to participating in absolutely everything happening around her. Because she is still young and so energetic, future adopters should expect a dog who will benefit greatly from routine, activity, play, and continued guidance. Dogs like Pembe thrive when they receive proper outlets for their energy along with consistency and positive interaction. Without enough stimulation, she would almost certainly invent her own entertainment. At the same time, there is something incredibly lovable about her chaotic enthusiasm. Pembe feels emotionally honest in the purest way possible. She loves openly, plays wholeheartedly, and experiences happiness with her entire body. Even after having such a difficult start in life, she has somehow remained completely optimistic about the world around her. She deserves a home where her lively personality will be appreciated rather than seen as “too much”. A home where she can finally stop surviving and simply enjoy being young, loved, safe, and included in everyday life. Underneath all the excitement is simply a dog who waited hungry and alone at a bus stop hoping someone would notice her. Now that she has been given a second chance, she is making the absolute most of it.
