Hi, I’m Poppy! 🐾💗 I’m a 10 year old, very special little Shih Tzu looking for my forever home. I’m hoping that somewhere out there is a lovely person or family who has room in their heart (and on their sofa!) for a little lady like me. When I first meet someone new, I can be a little nervous. But please don’t worry! Give me a little time and I’m soon coming around, especially once I realise you’re there to give me cuddles and love! Belly rubs are also very high on my list of favourite things. I really do enjoy being made a fuss of, and I’d love a home where I can get plenty of attention and feel like a very important member of the family. I also enjoy going out for little walks. I don’t need anything too adventurous — just a gentle wander, lots of interesting smells and some quality time with my human is perfect for me. I’ve lived with children before, but because I’m an older girl now, I’d really like a calm home with children aged 10 years or over, where things are a little quieter and I can relax. I would much rather have all the love and attention to myself, so I don’t want to live with any other pets, thank you very much! I could, however, have some doggy friends when I’m out on my walks, with sensible introductions. I’m a sweet girl looking for someone who will see just how much love I still have to give.
