All this little lady needs is a loving home where she can enjoy her peaceful retirement years. She’ll need a space without a lot of stairs, due to her being older, and as she values having her own space and enjoying quiet time, Poppy would be best suited to a home with secondary school aged children who can respect her boundaries. Poppy finds being alone difficult and will need adopters prepared to adopt a consistent routine and employ gradual training to help Poppy build up her confidence with being left for short periods. Adopters should also be aware that Poppy has some medical bits going on, due to her age, and would be happy to support this little older lady whilst she lives out her golden years. Poppy is an outgoing and affectionate 14 year old Chug (Chihuahua x Pug). She’s a super happy girl with a sweet and friendly nature! Poppy’s favourite thing is being close to her people and she likes being involved in whatever's going on around the home, but she’s also independent and appreciates having her own space when she wants it. She likes having the freedom to move around the house and settle where she pleases and she really loves being able to sleep on the bed with you. An early riser, Poppy would be happy to enjoy a gentle sunrise stroll around the neighbourhood before contently relaxing for the rest of the day.
