This is Potoula, a dog with depth of character, intelligence and a truly distinctive personality. She has a unique, expressive face, and her gaze changes from one moment to the next: sometimes curious, sometimes serious and observant, and at other times playful. She is sociable and friendly with people and gets along very well with both dogs and cats. She is also an excellent companion for a family with children, as she has shown that she can live with them calmly and comfortably. Potoula has stayed in a foster home, is familiar with family life and adapts to it easily. She walks nicely on a lead and, in general, is an easy dog to share everyday life with. Potoula is intelligent and learns quickly. Like many dogs that have experienced difficulties in their lives, she sometimes feels the need to protect things she considers valuable, such as food or certain objects. This is not unusual and, with proper guidance and clear boundaries, she can quickly build a trusting relationship with her person. She was found in a rural area, and no one knows what her life was like before. What we do know is that she has left that chapter behind and is ready to begin a new one. She is looking for someone who will appreciate not only her kindness but also her personality. Potoula is the kind of dog who wins you over more and more with every day you spend getting to know her.
