Hi there! My name’s Redwood, and if you’re looking for a friendly, lovable companion, I think we should meet. One of my favourite things in the world is saying hello to everyone I meet. People, dogs… if you’re up for a friendly greeting, I’m your guy! I also love leaning in for a fuss (I like to think I’m very good at cuddles) and, if I’m honest, I’m quite the foodie too. I may be an older gentleman, but don’t let that fool you—I still have plenty of personality, lots of love to give, and I’m always ready to brighten your day. I’m looking for a home with children aged 11 and over who can enjoy my company. I could potentially live with another dog, as long as we have a successful introduction at the North Lincolnshire Centre first. Cats and small furry animals aren’t for me though—I just can’t resist chasing them, so I’d be happiest in a home without them. I’d also love a family who are around most of the time to begin with, as I’ll need a little help settling into my new life. Once I’ve found my paws and feel comfortable, being left for an hour or two can be built up gradually. A secure garden is on my wish list too, giving me a safe place to potter about, sniff to my heart’s content, and enjoy the fresh air.
