Rocket est la belle mère d'un chien qui appartenait autrefois à quelqu'un, mais comme c'est souvent le cas, ses maîtres n'ont pas eu la peine de la faire stériliser, et lorsqu'elle a donné naissance à ses petits chiots adorables, ils ont décidé de se débarrasser de tous les chiots, et ils ont abandonné la mère avec tous ses chiots, près d'une voie ferrée proche de l'un de nos sauveurs macédoniens. Malheureusement, certains des chiots ont été tués par le train, mais la mère et le reste de la portée ont été sauvés. Ils ont été amenés dans un petit refuge privé, où ils ont été bien soignés et ont rapidement surmonté la dure vie de chiens errants. Cela fait plus d'un an. Pendant ce temps, la mère de Rocket a été adoptée ainsi que certains des chiots. Mais Rocket et son frère Quill attendent toujours. L'environnement bienveillant du refuge, avec une bonne socialisation, leur a offert un bon départ malgré les difficultés initiales, et ils sont devenus de beaux chiens amicaux et très affectueux. Rocket a un caractère charmant et doux, il sera un merveilleux compagnon pour quelqu'un ayant un mode de vie actif et le temps nécessaire pour éduquer un jeune chien. Rocket aimera vivre avec un autre chien, mais peut aussi être un chien unique, si ses besoins en contact avec d'autres chiens sont satisfaits régulièrement. Il est habitué aux enfants qui visitent le refuge et est doux avec eux. Rocket aura besoin d'une formation générale et d'une guidance douce pour s'habituer à vivre à la maison, mais c'est un garçon intelligent et il rattrapera rapidement le temps perdu. Il aimera un jardin où il pourra se détendre quand le temps est agréable. Castré, pucé et totalement vacciné.

Rocket’s beautiful mother used to be someones dog, but as it is so often the case, her owners didn’t bother to have her spayed, and when she gave birth to her sweet little puppies, they decided to get rid of them all, and dumped the mother with all her puppies, by a railroad track close to one of our Macedonian rescuers. Sadly some of the puppies were killed by the train, but the mother and the rest of the litter were rescued. They were brought to a small private shelter, where they were taken good care of, and soon recovered from the hard life as strays. That was more than one year ago. Meanwhile, Rocket’s mother has been adopted and also some of the puppies. But Rocket and his brother Quill are still waiting. The caring environment in the shelter, with plenty of socialization, has given them a good start in spite of their initial hardship, and they have grown into gorgeous, friendly and very affectionate young dogs. Rocket has a delightful, gentle character and he will be an amazing companion for someone with an active lifestyle, and time enough to dedicate, to the education of a young dog. Rocket will enjoy living with another dog, but can also be an only dog, if his need for social dog contacts is met on a frequent basis. He is used to children visiting the shelther and is gentle around them. Rocket will need general training and gentle guidance to get used to living in a home, but he is a clever boy and will soon catch up for lost time. He will love a garden where he can chill when the weather is nice. Neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
