Romeo serait également très reconnaissant si sa nouvelle famille pouvait l'aider à se sentir à l'aise avec d'autres chiens. Pour l'instant, il est un peu inquiet et peut grogner s'ils s'approchent trop. Toutefois, il travaille dur chaque jour au centre et apprend rapidement que les chiens ne sont pas si effrayants après tout ! Ce petit chien est un vrai bonheur plein de personnalité. Il n'attend maintenant qu'une famille qui partage son sens de l'aventure et qui aime beaucoup de câlinés de terrier. Découvrez Romeo, notre énergique et très gentil Australian Silky Terrier de 4 ans. Il a trouvé difficile d'adapter sa vie en cage car il s'épanouit vraiment en compagnie humaine. En tant que véritable chien de terrier, il adore les jeux interactifs tels que le jeu de tirage ou le jeu de balle, mais il peut aussi se calmer seul avec un bon os longue durée. Romeo peut également trouver les environnements animés un peu étouffants pour l'instant, surtout s'il y a beaucoup de chiens autour, donc un environnement plus calme ou rural serait idéal pour lui. Il aimera beaucoup avoir de l'espace pour courir et sentir toutes les odeurs et explorer ! Une fois qu'il a fini, il adore recevoir des gros câlins et des attentions de la part de ses soigneurs, donc il bénéficierait également de cela à la maison. Il pourrait vivre avec des personnes âgées de 14 ans et plus qui pourront l'aider initialement à s'installer, car il trouve cela un peu difficile actuellement après avoir passé un certain temps en cage.

Romeo would also be really grateful if his new family could continue to help him to feel comfortable around other dogs. At the moment he is a little worried and may grumble if they come too close. However, he is working hard on this every day at the centre and is learning quickly that dogs aren’t that scary after all! This little lad is a real joy who is full of personality. Now he’s just waiting for a family who share his sense of adventure and enjoy lots and lots of terrier cuddles. Meet Romeo, our energetic and very sweet 4 year-old Australian Silky Terrier. He's found adapting to kennel life quite difficult as he really thrives in human company. Being true to his terrier nature he really enjoys interactive games such as tug and ball play, but he can also settle down by himself with a good long-lasting chew. Romeo can also find busy environments a bit overwhelming at the moment, especially if there are lots of dogs around, so a quieter or rural environment would be great for him. He would really enjoy some space to run around in so he can smell all of the smells and explore! When he’s finished with this he loves nothing more than big hugs and fusses with his handlers so would also really benefit from this in the home. He could live with people aged 14 and over who will be able to support him initially with settling down, as he finds this a bit tricky currently after spending a while in kennels.
