Adopter Rosie

by Cattery | Jul 20, 2026 | Cats, Female, Liverpool, Cats, Female, Liverpool Sadly, it isn’t Rosie’s first time in our rescue… She initially entered our care in April and was at risk of being put to sleep as her owner could not cope. We found her a home not long after she entered shelter but unfortunately she has returned due to the fact that her adopters got themselves a kitten. Rosie is a very sweet cat. She is a little shy at first but once she recognises you’re a friend she comes right out for some pets and attention. She has also been known to enjoy laying in staff’s laps whilst we’re working. When she did come in initially, her owner had said she was not happy living with other cats and would redirect her frustration onto them. Due to this, we feel it would be best if she is the only cat in the household. We have no history of how she copes with dogs but due to her personality, a dog-free home would be ideal. She is a gentle and calm cat but as she can be a bit shy, a household with no kids or older/mature kids would work best for her.
