Personality:Sampson is a loving and gentle boy who loves the company from his socialisers. He can be quite persistent with his meowing when he wants some attention. He can also be quite playful at times. Behaviour:Sampson is either waiting at the front of his unit or comes running down to see people from his pod. He greets with a meow then starting rubbing around your legs and doing mini twirls to headbutt your hand. He is a affectionate boy and its not long before he jumps on socialisers laps for some gentle strokes and eventually a snooze. He paddy paws and purrs away and is responsive when being talked to. Housing:Sampson will need a home with outside access to a garden. He cannot be homed in the Christchurch area. Children/pets:With a slow introduction he could possibly live with a calm small dog who is used to living with cats. He could live with children of older primary school age subject to a successful meeting at the centre. Vet history:Sampson is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 25/08/26 – 31/08/26 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Sampson has no known medical conditions. As Sampson has pale ears and nose, adopters will need to be aware and provide protection in sunny weather as he will be prone to sunburn. e.g. pet safe sun cream. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption. Adoption fee:The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated. Additional information:All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
