Name: Sandy Age: 9 months Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Sex: Female Sandy is a beautiful 9-month-old Jack Russell Terrier who is a little nervous and lacking in confidence. She is a friendly girl who just needs someone patient and experienced to show her that the world is a safe and happy place. Temperament & Personality Sandy is a lovely, gentle girl who can be quite nervous in new situations. She is friendly but needs time to build trust and confidence. She is also very submissive with other dogs and generally takes a gentle approach when meeting her canine friends. Behaviour & Suitability Sandy is family friendly and has huge potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. She will need an experienced owner who understands nervous dogs and is prepared to give her the time, patience and encouragement she needs. She should not be rushed or overwhelmed; allowing her confidence to grow at her own pace will be key. With the right person behind her, we really believe Sandy could come out of her shell and become a fantastic little dog. Health & Exercise Notes As a young Jack Russell, she will enjoy plenty of age-appropriate exercise, play and mental stimulation, alongside continued confidence-building and training. Sandy isn’t looking for someone to simply take her home and expect her to settle overnight. She needs someone who will invest the time in her and help her discover her confidence. In return, we believe she has huge potential.
