Sasha est originalement venue au Royaume-Uni depuis un refuge en Roumanie, accompagnée de sa sœur Bella tout au long du voyage. Ces refuges publics en Roumanie sont extrêmement surchargés, très peu dotés de fonds pour la nourriture, les chiens n'ont presque aucun abri contre les intempéries et malheureusement les agressions entre chiens deviennent de plus en plus fréquentes. Ces 2 petites chiennes n'auraient pas eu de chances si elles étaient restées plus longtemps. Depuis son arrivée chez nous, Sasha a montré qu'elle est très affectueuse avec le personnel et les bénévoles et très joueuse avec les jouets et les amis chiens. Sasha adore jouer avec ses amis chiens et part une cage avec sa sœur, cependant elle montre beaucoup de comportements de garde envers les autres. Elle gardera particulièrement sa nourriture et ses jouets et grognera et fera partir l'autre chien, elle protège ce qui lui appartient. Pour ces raisons, nous pensons que Sasha sera meilleure comme chien unique à la maison. Nous serions ouverts à considérer qu'elle vive avec un deuxième chien, toutefois cela devra être géré très soigneusement dès le début, car cela pourrait causer beaucoup de désagréments dans la maison et surtout avec le chien actuel si elle finit par le harceler. Il faudrait un chien de même taille ou plus grand qu'elle. Sasha aimait le chat lors du test avec le chat. Elle était très douce avec lui, lui a fait beaucoup de reniflements et même l'a nettoyé. Elle n'a montré aucun instinct de prédation. Sasha est encore toute petite, elle présente actuellement des niveaux d'énergie modérés mais elle a récemment commencé à faire des promenades qu'elle adore absolument. Sasha n'a jamais été laissée seule complètement dans sa vie, elle a toujours eu la compagnie d'autres chiens. Il est possible que Sasha souffre d'anxiété de séparation jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'habitue à être seule, cela devra être travaillé progressivement. Sasha a récemment commencé l'entraînement au collier et adore cela absolument. Sasha n'a aucun type d'entraînement de base. Elle aura également besoin d'être entraînée à faire ses besoins dans sa nouvelle maison.

Sasha originally travelled to the UK from a shelter in Romania, with her sister Bella by her side the whole way. These public shelters in Romania are extremely overcrowded, very short on funds for food, the dogs have barely any shelter from the harsh weathers and sadly dog attacks are becoming more and more regular. These 2 babies wouldn't have stood a chance if they'd have stayed much longer. Since arriving with us Sasha has shown to be very affectionate with staff and volunteers and very playful with toys and dog friends. Sasha has had several viewings during her time with us but she can be very fearful of strangers. She will bark at new people and hide away in fear. Unfortunately, no one has been able to look past this which is really sad because there is the most sweetest, loving, playful and cheeky girl behind all of that fear, she just needs someone that is going to give her patience and understanding. She's just a baby and has spent all of her life in shelters and kennels, she's never known a family of her own and before Oakwood, people didn't always mean positive experiences for Sasha so it's of no suprise that she doesn't trust everyone straight away. We need someone that is able to see past the fear barking and in return, you are going to get to get a beautiful girl full of love and character that will stand right by your side and be the best friend that you could ask for. Sasha has gone through everything in life with one thing that has been a constant for her.. her sister Bella. It would be the most amazing happy after for them both if they could be adopted together but we do realise that this is a big ask and so we'd also be looking at the option of them being adopted seperately. Sasha loves playing out with her dog friends and shares a kennel with her sister however, she does show a lot of guarding traits towards the others . Sasha has been seen to guard her food and toys and will snap at and make the other dog go away, she will proect whatever is hers. For these reasons, we believe that Sasha will be best as an only dog in the home . We'd be open to looking at her living with a second dog however, this would need to be very carefully managed from day 1 as it could cause of a lot of upset in the home and especially with the current dog if they end up getting bullied by her. It would need to be a dog of similiar size or larger than her. Sasha loved the cat when cat tested. She was very gentle with him, gave him lots of sniffs and was even cleaning him. She showed no prey drive. Sasha is still just a baby, she currently shows moderate energy levels but she has recently started going out on walks which she is absolutely loving Sasha has never in her life been left fully alone as she's always had the company of other dogs. There's a possibility that Sasha could suffer with superation anxiety until she gets used to being alone, this will need to be worked on and built up slowly Sasha has recently started lead training and is absolutely loving it Sasha has no form of basic training. She will also need toilet training in her new home
