Shadow could have pre school aged children and up, however, is looking for a home where he can enjoy plenty of love and attention. He is fully toilet trained and is happy settling down for the night in his big, fluffy bed. In his previous home, Shadow was used to being left while his owners worked night shifts, so this was during his usual sleeping hours. As we don't know how he will cope being left during the daytime, any time spent alone should be built up slowly. If Shadow finds this difficult, his new family should be prepared to put arrangements in place so he isn't left for longer than he can manage. With a patient family who can help him settle into a new routine, Shadow will make a wonderful, affectionate companion. Shadow is an 8 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Jack Russell Terrier looking for a loving home. He is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves people and enjoys nothing more than curling up on your lap or relaxing beside you on the sofa. He has previously lived with another dog and gets on well with dogs, but he does like to be the centre of attention, so he may be happiest as the only dog in the home. Shadow has also lived with pre-school-aged children. Shadow enjoys his walks, although he'll need to build these up gradually as he isn't used to longer outings. He hasn't shown much interest in toys yet, but this may change once he settles into his new home. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves company and plenty of cuddles, Shadow could be the perfect match.
