Sirius, a male German Shepherd, born approximately 2018, neutered, about 55 cm shoulder height, has been in the shelter since 2021. Sirius has been with Maria for many years and has developed into a dog that does not want much to do with people. If he feels threatened, he also goes forward. Unfortunately, there is hardly any possibility in the shelter to help him have positive experiences. He is compatible with other dogs. Sirius is currently not available for normal dog owners. In a home like the one we otherwise wish for the dogs, he would not get along. If people are interested in him with the necessary expertise and the right circumstances, he is welcome to get a chance. He is currently in Romania and may leave if a home is found. He travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival in the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. Sirius, geboren ca. 2018, kastriert, ca. 55 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 2021 Sirius ist mittlerweile seit vielen Jahren bei Maria und hat sich zu einem Hund entwickelt der mit Menschen nicht viel zu tun haben möchte. Fühlt er sich bedrängt geht er auch nach vorne. Leider besteht im Shelter kaum die Möglichkeit, ihm zu positiven Erfahrungen zu verhelfen. Mit anderen Hunden ist er verträglich. Sirius ist momentan nicht an normale Hundehalter vermittelbar. In einem Zuhause wie wir es uns sonst für die Hunde wünschen, würde er nicht zurechtkommen. Sollten sich Menschen für ihn interessieren bei denen Sachverstand und die richtigen Umstände gegeben sind, darf er gerne eine Chance bekommen. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
