Tao is a very charming boy who loves to cuddle. He likes to climb into bed with you when you're getting ready for bed to demand cuddles. He loves being close and purrs loudly as soon as you look at him or talk to him. The best thing for him is simply attention. Tao is not only incredibly cuddly but also very playful. In the foster home, he often runs around with his brother Tarrence or wrestles with his sisters. He also loves to play with ball toys and can spend a long time just sitting and pushing and watching the ball as it goes round and round. Tao has an overbite due to his background. This means that the canines in the lower jaw are misaligned with the upper jaw and risk puncturing the palate. Therefore, you need to check his teeth daily until Tao is about 6 months old to see if he has lost them or not. There is a risk that the permanent teeth will grow out without the lower canines falling out. If this happens, the milk teeth would need to be pulled, which the animal shelter would cover. Even if you don't need to pull out the milk teeth, there is a risk, depending on how he grows, that you may need to pull out the permanent teeth, so you need to be prepared for this. Tao also has some gingivitis (gum inflammation) and therefore needs to be brushed as often as possible, ideally daily. Due to the background with an overbite, you need to expect that a future insurance policy unfortunately won't cover any problems that may arise with a cat's mouth. Tao wants to live in his future home with his brother Tarrence, and if there are already other cats or other animals in the home, this is just a plus, but you need to be prepared for the fact that Tao and his brother are very cocky and any other animals must be able to handle this. Tao could definitely live with children, as long as they can handle his boundaries. Tao is fine as an indoor cat but must have access to a cat-proof balcony or patio. Tao är en väldigt charmig kille som älskar att gosa. Han kommer gärna upp i sängen när man gått och lagt sig för att kräva gos. Han älskar att vara nära och spinner högt så fort man kollar eller pratar med honom. Det bästa han vet är helt enkelt uppmärksamhet. Tao är förutom otroligt gosig även väldigt busig. I jourhem springer han ofta runt med sin bror Tarrence eller brottas med sina systrar. Han älskar även att leka med bollbanor och kan lägga lång tid på att bara sitta och putta och kolla på bollen som åker runt runt. Tao har på grund av sin bakgrund överbett. Detta innebär att hörntänderna i underkäken hamnar fel i överkäken och riskerar att punktera gommen. På grund av detta behöver man dagligen fram tills att Tao är ca 6 månader gammal kolla till tänderna för att se om han har tappat dom eller inte. Risken finns nämligen att dom permanenta tänderna växer ut utan att hörntänderna i underkäken lossnar. Om detta blir fallet så behöver mjölktänderna dras ut, detta skulle katthemmet isåfall stå för. Även om man inte behöver dra ut mjölktänderna så finns det en risk, beroende på hur han växer, för att man behöver dra ut dom permanenta tänderna, man behöver därför vara beredd på detta. Vidare har Tao även lite gingivit (tandköttsinflammation) och behöver därför tandborstas så ofta som möjligt, gärna dagligen. På grund av bakgrunden med överbett så behöver man räkna med att en framtida försäkring tyvärr inte täcker eventuella problem som kan uppstå med en katts mun. Tao vill i sitt framtida hem bo tillsammans med sin bror Tarrence, finns det redan andra katter eller andra djur i hemmet är detta bara ett plus, man behöver dock vara beredd på att Tao och hans bror är riktigt kaxiga och eventuella andra djur måste kunna hantera detta. Tao skulle absolut kunna bo med barn, så länge dom kan hantera hans gränser. Tao funkar bra som innekatt men måste ha tillgång till en kattsäkrad balkong eller uteplats. Han skulle även kunna trivas bra med tillgång till en säker utevistelse. Född i jourhem 15/5-2026
