Ted came to us at the Melle animal shelter weighing less than 2 kg. He had been left in an apartment. Ted would have died there, starving, if he hadn't been discovered. We had to carefully nurse Ted back to health, and at first it didn't look good for the long-legged, large, approximately 1-year-old cat, but he made a comeback. Today he is a lively sunny cat who wants to seize life with both paws. Ted wants to experience something, wants to be busy and from now on only loved very, very much. Currently, he sometimes tends to impatience, which is why we would not like to place Ted with very young children. Ted is still a bit thin but he is catching up. A blood test result is currently pending, if it is as hoped, the sweet guy could move out soon. After the several-week acclimation in the new home, Ted also wants the possibility to go outside for hours.

Als Ted zu uns ins Tierheim Melle kam wog er nicht mal mehr 2 kg. Er war in einer Wohnung zurückgelassen worden. Ted wäre dort wohl gestorben, verhungert, wenn er nicht entdeckt worden wäre. Sorgsam mussten wir Ted aufpäppeln und am Anfang sah es gar nicht so gut für den langbeinigen, großen ca. 1jährigen Kater aus aber er hat es geschafft und sich zurückgekämpft. Heute ist er ein temperamentvoller Sonnenschein der das Leben mit beiden Pfoten packen will. Ted möchte etwas erleben, möchte beschäftigt und ab jetzt nur noch sehr, sehr lieb gehabt werden. Momentan neigt er manchmal etwas zur Ungeduld weshalb wir Ted nicht so gerne zu ganz kleinen Kindern vermitteln möchten. Ein bisschen dünn ist Ted noch aber er holt weiter auf. Ein Blutprobenergebnis steht derzeit noch aus, wenn das wie erhofft unbedenklich ist, könnte der süße Kerl bald ausziehen. Ted wünscht sich nach der mehrwöchigen Eingewöhnung im neuen Zuhause auch die Möglichkeit stundenweise nach draußen zu dürfen.
