Préparez les mouchoirs… celle-ci est un véritable fondant pour le cœur. Découvrez Tess, une jeune fille de 2 ans adorable, qui a une histoire remplie d'espoir et de chagrin. Tess est arrivée seule au refuge, confuse mais toujours pleine d'amour. Peu de temps après, elle a été adoptée - et un autre chien du refuge a également été adopté par la même personne à la même époque. Pendant un moment, il semblait que Tess ait enfin la nouvelle opportunité qu'elle méritait. Mais quelques jours plus tard, son adoptant a réalisé qu'il ne pouvait pas gérer deux chiens... et Tess a été renvoyée. Cette douce fille n'avait aucune idée de ce qu'elle avait fait de mal. Elle est revenue nous voir brisée, mais toujours aussi douce et aimante - toujours prête à se blottir, toujours prête à faire confiance à nouveau. Tess est vraiment le chien parfait pour une famille qui recherche un compagnon fidèle. Elle mérite une maison pour toujours qui ne la décevra pas. Our volunteers have been getting to know her, and she is a total "heart-melter!" **The Inside Scoop on Tess:** * **Her Story:** Tess was previously adopted alongside a much more active dog. It proved tricky to manage two dogs with such different energy levels at once, so Tess was returned. She is a gentle girl who just needs a home that matches her pace! * **Walking Style:** Tess is lovely and non-aggressive, but she has a stubborn side. She does enjoy her walks, but she prefers shorter distances and isn't a fan of being rushed. If she decides she’s gone far enough, she’ll simply lie down and refuse to budge! * **The Power of Friends:** Interestingly, her "stubbornness" often disappears when she’s with other dogs! She is very curious and social; if she’s walking with a dog friend who interests her, she is much more motivated to keep going. * **Ideal Home:** She would thrive with a patient owner who isn't in a hurry. Because she’s been a bit lonely since her kennel mate was adopted, she would likely love a home with a compatible dog friend to show her the way.
