Tigger is a real sweetie, who is slowly finding his paws and growing in confidence. With time we're sure he'll live up to that Collie nature being both smart and active, so would love a home where he can enjoy lots of adventures and learn lots of new things. It's important his new family are committed to keeping him both physically and mentally stimulated. Tigger may need some support with settling into a home environment, but with some gentle guidance it shouldn't take him too long to learn all he needs to know! Beautiful Tigger has come into our care with little know about his past. He's unfortunately had a bit of tough start and came to us with extremely matted fur. Tigger has found grooming a little overwhelming and has been quite fearful of the clippers. His new family will need to be committed to staying on top of his grooming needs with regular brushing and positive training to keep him looking beautiful. Tigger loves people and will wiggle his way over to you for a fuss, but he can sometimes be a little unsure when overhandled. Because of this we think a home with lower secondary aged children would suit him best, with children who can understand when he may be feeling a little worried. He's been making lots of friends, including other dogs, around the centre so we think he could happily with another dog in his new home.
