Hello, my name is Treacle... and I'm hoping someone might have a little space in their heart for an old girl like me. For many years, I had a home of my own and a person I loved very much. We spent our days together enjoying the simple things,quiet company, cosy naps, and plenty of fuss and affection. But sadly, my owner passed away, and suddenly my whole world changed.Now I find myself here at the rescue. Everyone is being so kind to me, but if I'm honest, I'm finding kennel life a little difficult. After so long in the comfort of a home, all the strange noises and unfamiliar faces can feel a bit overwhelming. I miss having a sofa to curl up on and someone to sit beside at the end of the day.I'm around 16 years old, but please don't let that put you off.
