As with all our partners, it’s already clearly noticeable at LIDA that the tourist season is in full swing. Almost daily, we receive reports of stray animals being spotted once again—or found animals are brought directly to the refuge, just like these two little female puppies. When they were found, there were three puppies in total; however, one has already been rehomed in Milan. We wish the little one all the best. The two girls who stayed at the refuge are probably sisters. We met them personally during our project tour at the end of June 2026. They’re not only very pretty but also exceptionally sweet and affectionate. However, they hadn’t been at the refuge for very long yet, so they hadn’t been chipped and didn’t have names yet. But since they were easy to distinguish from each other, we were still able to take photos right away, so we could put them on the website as soon as those formalities were completed. Now the time has finally come, and today we’re delighted to introduce Tequila and Trudie. Tequila and Trudie are being well cared for at the refuge. What they certainly miss, though, is intense human attention—because with the large number of cats and dogs needing care, the staff simply doesn’t have enough time for that. That’s why we’d like to get Tequila and Trudie out of the refuge as soon as possible, so they can be fostered in a family environment in Germany, where they’ll receive the best possible support for their further development. It would be wonderful if these lovable young dogs could soon find their forever homes. Maybe even with you? Wie bei allen unseren Partnern, so ist auch in der LIDA deutlich spürbar, dass die Touristensaison schon in vollem Gange ist. Nahezu täglich gehen Meldungen ein, wo wieder herrenlose Tiere gesichtet wurden. Oder Fundtiere werden direkt zum Rifugio gebracht. So wie diese beiden Welpenmädchen.Sie waren drei Welpen, als sie gefunden wurden. Einer wurde jedoch schon nach Mailand vermittelt. Wir wünschen dem Kleinen alles Gute.Die beiden Mädchen, die im Rifugio verblieben, sind vermutlich Schwestern. Wir lernten sie während unserer Projekttour Ende Juni 2026 persönlich kennen. Sie sind nicht nur sehr hübsch, sondern ausgesprochen lieb. Sie waren allerdings noch nicht sehr lange im Rifugio und waren deshalb noch nicht gechippt und hatten auch noch keine Namen. Aber da sie gut zu unterscheiden waren, konnten wir trotzdem schon Fotos machen, um sie dann sofort auf die Webseite bringen zu können, wenn diese Formalitäten erledigt sein würden.Nun war es endlich soweit, und so können wir heute Tequila und Trudie vorstellen.Tequila und Trudie werden im Rifugio gut versorgt. Was ihnen aber sicherlich fehlt, ist intensive menschliche Zuwendung, denn dafür bleibt bei der Vielzahl der zu versorgenden Katzen und Hunde den Mitarbeitern keine Zeit.Deshalb möchten wir Tequila und Trudie auch so schnell wie möglich aus dem Rifugio holen, damit sie in Deutschland in familiärem Umfeld bestmöglich in ihrer weiteren Entwicklung gefördert werden können.Es wäre wunderbar, wenn die liebenswerten Hundekinder bald ihre Traumzuhause für immer finden könnten.
