How did she end up with us? Throughout her entire life so far, Wełna has been a homeless cat. It took many weeks to catch her and required immense patience. When we finally managed to secure her, her condition was very poor. Wełna was severely dehydrated and emaciated, and her fur was covered in huge mats and tangles. Everything points to a severe oral inflammatory condition as the cause of her dire state. Wełna’s teeth are in very bad shape. The pain made it impossible for her to eat and drink comfortably, and also prevented her from properly grooming her own coat. She is now under our care and is undergoing diagnostic tests and treatment. A dental procedure lies ahead—this will be one of the most crucial steps in her recovery. As for her personality: we’ll have to wait a bit longer to truly get to know Wełna’s character. She’s still very weak, and most of her body’s energy is being devoted to fighting for her health. However, we can already see that she’s an incredibly patient cat. She tolerates all veterinary procedures and grooming sessions calmly, without any protests or aggression. She doesn’t try to run away; she lets us help her and accepts everything necessary with great calmness. What kind of home are we looking for her? At this stage, Wełna isn’t yet looking for a home. She only recently came into our care, and her treatment is still ongoing. She has a dental procedure ahead of her, as well as further recovery time. First, we need to restore her health and comfort. Once Wełna regains her strength and finishes her treatment, we’ll announce when she’ll be available for adoption. But before Wełna is ready for adoption, you can support her recovery by becoming her virtual caregiver.

Jak do nas trafiła?Wełna przez całe swoje dotychczasowe życie była kotem bezdomnym.Jej odłowienie zajęło wiele tygodni i wymagało ogromnej cierpliwości. Kiedy w końcu udało się ją zabezpieczyć, jej stan był bardzo zły. Wełna była skrajnie odwodniona i wychudzona,a jej sierść pokrywały ogromne filce i kołtuny.
