Xenia A clever girl waiting for her chance Some dogs just need the right person to see what they can become and we think Xenia is one of those dogs. Xenia has been at the kennels for two years now, and despite the long stay, she remains a bright, alert and incredibly switched-on girl. She’s active and intelligent, and she has a real working-dog brain. She may stalk and lunge at some dogs, so she needs an experienced owner who understands her behaviour and is willing to continue her training. But there’s another side to Xenia that you might not expect… She’s surprisingly affectionate and has always got on well either way her kennel mates. She knows her basic commands and is very sharp, she loves human interaction and we get the feeling she’s simply desperate to have something to do. Give her structure, training, stimulation and a purpose, and we really think this girl could absolutely shine. Xenia is looking for someone who will see beyond the challenges and recognise the intelligent, affectionate dog underneath.
