Yoshi is a very friendly senior Whippet who loves to be fussed and will nudge you to get you to pay even more attention. He's always happy to say hello to people but don't be offended if you don't get his full attention, he's probably just looking for wildlife to bother! We don't have a lot of history for Yoshi but we know he was owned for many years and is used to living in a house. He is vocal when he sees another dog but after a minute or two of shouting, he does settle down and will walk with dogs who don't want much from him. Yoshi doesn't seem particularly well socialised but it would be nice for him to have a regular friend or two for walks. He's very playful for a mature dog, enjoying a tuggy rope and balls. Yoshi has severe dental disease and has a dental booked for the end of July that should ease things for him, but he also has some age related pain in his hips. Yoshi can live with children of high school age but needs to be the only dog at home, although he can walk with calm ones once introduced. He is house trained and good when left alone. Yoshi has some pain in his hips that requires daily relief.
