Ogni cane avrà le proprie richieste riguardo alle età dei bambini e questo è specificato nelle informazioni di adozione. Consentiremo l'adozione di alcuni cani da parte di lavoratori a tempo pieno, se specificato nelle informazioni di adozione. Tuttavia, devi prevedere gli accordi per una visita durante il giorno, ad esempio un dog walker o sitter. Se il cane ha trascorso tempo in un ambiente di accoglienza, significa che abbiamo un'idea di come ogni cane reagisce all'essere lasciato per periodi determinati. Per favore, facci sapere com'è il tuo "giorno tipico" in modo che possiamo cercare di abbinare il giusto cane alle tue esigenze. Non permettiamo l'adozione dei nostri cani in ambienti di lavoro (ad esempio, caccia). Tuttavia, incoraggiamo le persone a presentare domande per cani che eccellerebbero con un "lavoro" da svolgere, come agility, flyball e Cani-x. Di solito non permettiamo ai cani di andare a case dove vengono tenuti all'esterno in gabbie, giardini o recinti, con l'eccezione dei cani che hanno vissuto precedentemente all'esterno e che sono più felici in questo ambiente. Please be aware due to the often complex nature of dogs in our care, we are not open to the general public. If you are interested in adopting then please read and follow the below process. We have a comprehensive adoption adoption process to ensure that the right dog is matched to the right home. Our aim is to be flexible to match the needs of the individual dog with the suitability of the home offered. You can see our dogs currently available for adoption. Tap here to see the dogs available We do not have blanket age restrictions for dogs being adopted where there are children in the family. Each dog will have its own requirements for the ages of children and this is specified in their adoption information. We will allow certain dogs to be adopted by full-time workers where specified in their adoption information. However, you must make arrangements for someone to visit during the day eg a dog walker/sitter. If the dog has been in a foster home it means that we do have an idea how each dog reacts to being left for certain periods of time. Please let us know what your "typical" day is like so we can try and match the right dog with your needs. We do not allow our dogs to be adopted into working homes (ie hunting). However, we do encourage people to apply for dogs that would excel with a "job" to do such as agility, flyball and Cani-x. We do not generally let dogs go to homes where they are kept outdoors in kennels, gardens or runs, with the exception of dogs that have previously lived outdoors and are happiest in this environment. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £275 per dog and £350 per puppy. This is an important contribution towards our general running costs and in many cases, may not even cover the cost of care that the dog has received from us. We strongly encourage adopters to attend positive and reward-based training classes, particularly for puppies and bull breeds. We can assist with identifying appropriate classes if required.
