Immagina di sederti legato con una catena corta e di avere una casetta per cani piccola e di dover stare lì 24/7. Nessuna stimolazione, nessun esercizio e minima interazione sociale con le persone. Poi aggiungi che hai bisogno di un veterinario, ma il tuo proprietario non crede di poterselo permettere o non ti dà priorità. Questa è stata la situazione di Armand. Fortunatamente un uomo lo ha notato e ha contattato un volontario che ha organizzato per far arrivare Armand al rifugio. Quando è arrivato al rifugio aveva un ascesso sotto lo stomaco che necessitava di un intervento chirurgico per essere rimosso e durante la convalescenza ha vissuto in casa di un volontario dove si è comportato molto bene. Era pulito, calmo dentro, affettuoso e amava molto fare passeggiate e andava bene in guinzaglio. La volontaria ha solo cose buone da dire su questo bravo ragazzo. Purtroppo non è riuscita a tenerlo dopo la sua guarigione, quindi ora è di nuovo al rifugio. Armand è un cane estremamente bello! Ha 3-4 anni e pesa 22 chilogrammi. Crediamo sia un incrocio di qualche tipo di beagle e avrà bisogno di una dose giornaliera di stimolazione mentale e fisica. Imagine sitting chained with a short chain and having a small dog house and you get to sit there 24/7. No stimulation, no exercise and minimal social contact with people. Then add that you need to see a vet, but your owner doesn’t think he can afford it or doesn’t prioritize you. This has been Armand’s situation. Luckily a man noticed him and contacted a volunteer who arranged for Armand to come to the shelter. When he arrived at the shelter he had a cyst under his stomach that needed surgery to be removed and in convalescence he lived in a volunteer’s home where he was very well behaved. He was room clean, calm inside, affectionate and just loved to go for walks and walked nicely on a leash. The volunteer only has nice things to say about this good boy. Unfortunately she couldn’t keep him after his recovery, so now he’s back at the shelter. Armand is a strikingly beautiful dog!He weighs approximately 22 kilos.We believe he is some sort of Beagle mix and has that soft Beagle personality.
