Bear è un incrocio di 4 mesi molto bello, con una storia che lo rende molto speciale. È stato trovato da solo, sul lato della strada, nel dicembre 2025, in Romania. In Romania in inverno fa molto freddo, quindi è stato estremamente fortunato a essere stato trovato. Il suo trovatore aveva fortunatamente un rifugio per cani rescattati, e la sua fortuna era quella giornata! È stato messo con altri 6 cuccioli che erano stati trovati in una scatola solo due giorni prima. Daniel (il responsabile del recupero) ha precedentemente lavorato con Islay Dog Rescue, quindi siamo stati lieti di offrire il nostro aiuto a tutti i cuccioli. Purtroppo due dei "cuccioli della scatola" non sono sopravvissuti ma gli altri, tra cui Bear, sono stati portati in sicurezza nel Regno Unito per una seconda possibilità nella vita. Bear è già un ragazzo grande e crescerà diventando un cane veramente massiccio! Al momento è in affidamento presso una famiglia e due altri cani. Questo è ciò che ha detto il suo accompagnatore. Conosci Bear, questo piccolo ragazzo è in affidamento da noi da una settimana attraverso Islay Dog-Rescue, è un vero tesoro, precedentemente trovato sulla strada in Romania, ora rimane con noi finché non trova la sua casa per sempre. Wee scone ha 5 mesi, sta imparando che vivere in casa non è poi così male - è quasi completamente addestrato, ha avuto solo alcuni piccoli incidenti con la pipì - mi prendo la colpa io!, si adatta bene ai rumori di casa, incluso l'aspirapolvere e la TV, viaggia bene in auto, si sta lentamente abituando a Gordon poiché trova gli uomini un po' spaventosi. Bear deve trovare una casa tranquilla senza bambini e almeno un altro cane solido che possa aiutarlo a imparare il modo del mondo e a costruire la sua fiducia, ama molto stare con Henry e Nora, le potenzialità di questo piccolo ragazzo sono enormi, ha imparato tanto nell'ultima settimana. Bear è un po' ansioso e ha bisogno di tempo in ogni nuova casa potenziale per rilassarsi e capire che le persone non sono tutte cattive e che le cose brutte non succederanno a lui e in realtà la vita può essere davvero fantastica. Se pensi che tu o qualcuno che conosci possa avere uno spazio per Bear sul divano - sì, gli piace il comfort della sua casa, allora sono più che felice di parlare e indicarti la direzione di Islay Dog Rescue. Meet Bear – A Brave Little Soul Looking for His Forever Home Bear is a stunning 6 month-old crossbreed with a story that makes him very special. He was found alone, at the side of the road, in December 2025, in Romania. Winters are very cold in Romania so he was extremely lucky to be found at all. His finder happened to run a dog rescue shelter to his luck was in that day! He was put with 6 other puppies who had been found in a box only two days previously. Daniel (the rescuer) has worked with Islay Dog Rescue previously so we were pleased to offer to help all of the pups. Unfortunately, two of the "box puppies" didn't survive but the others, including Bear, were brought safely to the UK for a second chance at life. Bear is a big lad already and will grow to be a chunk of a dog! He has now been in foster care for the past three weeks. In that short time, his fosterers have already started to see small but incredibly meaningful improvements in his confidence. Although Bear is still generally wary of men, he is beginning to learn that people can be kind and safe. He will now willingly approach the man in his foster home for attention when the other dogs do, and recently, while out on a walk, Bear even pushed in for fusses from an unfamiliar man who was stroking the other dogs he lives with — a huge step forward for this gentle young boy, who would usually prefer strangers to give him space. Bear gets on wonderfully with the resident dogs in his foster home. He travels well in the car, enjoys exploring new places, and absolutely loves snuggling up on the sofa once he feels comfortable.
