Milan è un incrocio di 3 anni proveniente dalla Romania, che pesa circa 21 kg. Questo ragazzo di media taglia ha attraversato molto, ma il suo dolce spirito e il suo caloroso "sorriso" spiccano. Può essere un po' sensibile e nervoso quando incontra persone nuove o affronta situazioni insolite. Tuttavia, una volta che impara a fidarsi di te, Milan diventa incredibilmente affettuoso e ama trascorrere tempo con i suoi umani. Ha anche un lato giocoso: ama i giochi, i giocattoli e fa passeggiate bellissime al guinzaglio. Milan si intende bene con altri cani e, con presentazioni attente, potrebbe vivere felicemente con un compagno canino. Ha già incontrato un gatto e non ha mostrato molto interesse finché non è scappato – allora è entrato in gioco l'istinto di caccia – quindi una casa senza gatti (o con un gatto molto esperto di cani) sarebbe la migliore. È poco probabile che Milan abbia vissuto in casa prima, quindi potrebbe aver bisogno di supporto per l'addestramento ai servizi e per adattarsi alla vita domestica. A causa della sua iniziale diffidenza, sarebbe meglio adatto a una casa tranquilla senza bambini o con bambini più grandi, consapevoli dei cani. Milan is a gorgeous 3-year-old crossbreed from Romania, weighing around 21kg. This lovely medium-sized boy has been through a lot, but despite everything, his gentle nature and heart-warming “smile” continue to shine through. Milan can be a little sensitive and nervous when meeting new people or finding himself in unfamiliar situations. But once he learns that he can trust you, you’ll see a completely different side of him. He becomes incredibly affectionate, loves spending time with his humans and has a wonderfully playful personality too. He enjoys toys, games and exploring. He also loves going for walks and having plenty of time to stop and enjoy a good sniff, and he walks beautifully on the lead. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and has made lots of lovely doggy friends during his time at Islay. He particularly enjoys having a good play and romp around with his canine pals in the secure area. With careful introductions, we feel Milan could happily share his forever home with another friendly dog. Milan has met a cat previously and showed very little interest — until the cat ran! His chase instinct then kicked in, so we feel a cat-free home would be best, unless there is a very dog-savvy cat who is accustomed to living with dogs. It is unlikely that Milan has ever lived in a home before, so his new family will need to be patient and understanding as he learns all about domestic life. He may need some support with toilet training, settling into a home and discovering all the wonderful things that come with being a much-loved pet. Sadly, Milan is beginning to show signs of sadness. He has watched many of his doggy friends leave Islay for their forever homes while he has been left behind. Now, it is Milan’s turn.
