Presentiamo Bruno, un bellissimo cane! Bruno è un crocchio di mastino di 10 mesi, che è stato portato in nostro cura come un randagio finto. All'arrivo Bruno era molto confuso e spaventato dal suo ambiente, a una così giovane età nessun cane dovrebbe essere così preoccupato e si capisce che non ha avuto molta socializzazione o esposizione a persone diverse. Bruno è un ragazzo molto grande solo a dieci mesi e avrà bisogno di un addestratore esperto per cani di taglia grande, sicuro e sicuro mentre lavora sulle sue capacità di guida al guinzaglio e sulla sua autostima generale. Da quando è in nostra cura, la sua autostima è cresciuta, ha conosciuto molte nuove persone ed è lentamente diventato più sicuro durante i primi incontri. Una volta che Bruno ha guadagnato la tua fiducia, l'amore è mai finito! È un tenerone che ama l'attenzione e giocherà finché non potrà più giocare - i giochi di tiro e i orsacchiotti imbottiti sono i suoi assoluti preferiti. Purtroppo Bruno difende il suo boccone, sta lavorando duramente su questo con il nostro team comportamentale e sta già dimostrando grandi miglioramenti. I nuovi genitori dovranno gestire questo in casa continuando il lavoro con rafforzamento positivo per aiutarlo a sentirsi più sicuro intorno a questo. La nuova casa di Bruno dovrà essere abbastanza grande da poter gestire correttamente questo mentre viene lavorato. Bruno cerca una casa per adulti solo, senza animali domestici, in modo che possa riprendersi la vita quotidiana fuori dalle gabbie. È ancora giovane e un ragazzo molto intelligente con tanto potenziale, con i lavori fatti dovrebbe svilupparsi in un cane meraviglioso. Una volta che Bruno avrà lavorato su se stesso vorrebbe fare amicizia con altri cani in futuro.

Bruno is a Mastiff cross, estimated to be around 12–14 months old, who came into our care after being abandoned as a fake stray. Sadly, Bruno has now spent several months growing up in kennels. When he first arrived, he was an extremely worried young dog who found the world around him overwhelming. Through patience, training, and positive experiences, he has made fantastic progress and continues to grow in confidence every day. Bruno is a big, powerful lad who is now stacked with muscle and has filled out into an impressive young dog. He has worked hard to learn how to walk on lead, but due to his size and strength he will need a confident, physically capable handler with large-breed experience who can continue his training and help him navigate the world. Bruno can be wary of strangers and needs time to build trust with new people. His “stranger danger” behaviours are something we continue to work on, and he is making steady progress. Any introductions to new people will need to be managed appropriately while his new family continues the socialisation and confidence-building work he has started with us. Once Bruno trusts you, he is an incredibly affectionate boy with so much love to give. He adores fuss, enjoys a good game of tug, and can often be found proudly carrying around his favourite stuffed toys. Bruno also struggles with resource guarding around his food bowl. He has been working closely with our behaviour team and is showing encouraging improvements. His future family will need to continue managing this appropriately and use positive reinforcement to help him feel safe and secure. Bruno is primarily looking for an adult-only home. He may be able to live with a calm, neutered female dog of similar size and stature, subject to multiple successful introductions at the centre. Any potential canine companion would need to be a good match for his play style and ongoing development. Bruno is a bright young lad who has already overcome so much. With patience, consistency and understanding, he has all the potential to become a loyal and rewarding companion. In the right home, this handsome giant is ready to continue blossoming.
