Présentation de Bruno, grand et magnifique ! Bruno est un croisé molosse de 10 mois, qui a été amené dans notre centre en tant que chien errant falsifié. À son arrivée, Bruno était tristement très désorienté et effrayé par son environnement, à un si jeune âge, aucun chien ne devrait être aussi inquiet et il est clair qu'il n'a pas eu beaucoup de socialisation ou d'exposition à différentes personnes. Bruno est un grand garçon, même à seulement 10 mois, et il aura besoin d'un gestionnaire fort et confiant, expérimenté avec les grandes races, pendant qu'il travaille sur ses compétences de promenade en laisse et sa confiance générale. Depuis qu'il est sous notre garde, la confiance de Bruno a fleuri, il a rencontré de nombreuses nouvelles personnes et devient progressivement plus confiant lors des premières rencontres. Une fois que Bruno vous aura fait confiance, l'amour sera sans fin ! Il est un vrai tendre qui adore les attentions et jouera jusqu'à ce qu'il n'ait plus de force - les jouets de traction et les ours en peluche remplis sont ses préférés absolus. Malheureusement, Bruno défend son bol de nourriture, il travaille dur sur cela avec notre équipe de comportement et montre déjà de grandes améliorations. Ses nouveaux parents devront gérer cela à la maison tout en continuant le travail avec une récompense positive pour l'aider à se sentir plus en sécurité autour de cela. La nouvelle maison de Bruno devra être assez spacieuse pour pouvoir gérer cela correctement pendant qu'on y travaille. Bruno recherche un foyer exclusivement pour adultes, sans animaux, afin qu'il puisse s'adapter à la vie quotidienne en dehors des cages. Il est encore jeune et tellement intelligent, avec tellement de potentiel, s'il met le travail nécessaire, il deviendra un merveilleux chien adulte. Une fois que Bruno aura travaillé sur lui-même, il aimera faire des amis canins à l'avenir.

Bruno is a Mastiff cross, estimated to be around 12–14 months old, who came into our care after being abandoned as a fake stray. Sadly, Bruno has now spent several months growing up in kennels. When he first arrived, he was an extremely worried young dog who found the world around him overwhelming. Through patience, training, and positive experiences, he has made fantastic progress and continues to grow in confidence every day. Bruno is a big, powerful lad who is now stacked with muscle and has filled out into an impressive young dog. He has worked hard to learn how to walk on lead, but due to his size and strength he will need a confident, physically capable handler with large-breed experience who can continue his training and help him navigate the world. Bruno can be wary of strangers and needs time to build trust with new people. His “stranger danger” behaviours are something we continue to work on, and he is making steady progress. Any introductions to new people will need to be managed appropriately while his new family continues the socialisation and confidence-building work he has started with us. Once Bruno trusts you, he is an incredibly affectionate boy with so much love to give. He adores fuss, enjoys a good game of tug, and can often be found proudly carrying around his favourite stuffed toys. Bruno also struggles with resource guarding around his food bowl. He has been working closely with our behaviour team and is showing encouraging improvements. His future family will need to continue managing this appropriately and use positive reinforcement to help him feel safe and secure. Bruno is primarily looking for an adult-only home. He may be able to live with a calm, neutered female dog of similar size and stature, subject to multiple successful introductions at the centre. Any potential canine companion would need to be a good match for his play style and ongoing development. Bruno is a bright young lad who has already overcome so much. With patience, consistency and understanding, he has all the potential to become a loyal and rewarding companion. In the right home, this handsome giant is ready to continue blossoming.
