A Biggie, a Beagle mix, was rescued from the streets. Today he has food, water and shelter but does not have the life he deserves. It breaks our hearts to admit that although we love him, we cannot give him more. Due to our work schedules, he spends his day alone in the yard avoiding a relentless sun. We cannot bring him inside. Two very old cats live there; one of them suffers from epileptic seizures and even the slightest stress could be fatal. The irony is that Biggie is a gentle soul. He is patient, noble and strangely tender: when he sees baby swallows on the ground, he respects them; if small dogs bark at him, he just wags his tail patiently. I know he would never hurt my cats but they do not know it and their health is too fragile for us to risk it. Seeing him outside waiting for our return for his only walk of the day hurts our souls. We love him already and that's why we know this is not the destiny he deserves. Biggie needs a family with time for him, who will give him space, walks and the love that we, with all the guilt in the world, cannot offer him today. Please help us find that good family. He is ready to give his all; he just needs someone to open the door of their home to him.

Por nuestros horarios de trabajo, pasa el día solo en el patio, esquivando un sol que no da tregua. No podemos meterlo en casa.
