Bilberry è entrato in nostra cura come randagio in condizioni piuttosto precarie, quindi comprensibilmente il mondo può ancora sembrargli un po' opprimente a volte. È un ragazzo timido che può essere diffidente verso persone sconosciute, movimenti rapidi e ambienti affollati, e attualmente ha difficoltà a camminare al guinzaglio. Per questo motivo, Bilberry è alla ricerca di una casa calma e prevedibile con bambini di età superiore ai 14 anni che possano rispettare il suo spazio e aiutarlo a costruire fiducia al suo ritmo. Bilberry avrà bisogno di un sostegno costante e di incoraggiamento positivo per imparare che la vita può essere sicura e piacevole. Ha tanto potenziale, ma avrà bisogno di adottanti disposti ad andare piano e a celebrare le piccole vittorie lungo il cammino. Trova anche altri cani piuttosto opprimenti e avrà bisogno di guida con la socializzazione e l'apprendimento di come sentirsi più a suo agio con loro e avrà bisogno di indossare la museruola durante le passeggiate, con cui ha fatto molti progressi. Bilberry is a sweet boy and we've be amazing to see his personality blossom. He enjoys relaxing in his bed and spending time with his trusted human friends. We recommend any time being left is gradually built up as he settles into his forever home. Bilberry will need ongoing support and positive encouragement to help him learn that life can be safe and enjoyable. He has so much potential, but he will need adopters who are willing to take things slowly and celebrate the little wins along the way. Meet Bilberry, a 3-year-old Deerhound cross who is looking for a home with patient and understanding adopters. . Bilberry came into our care as a stray in quite poor condition, so understandably the world can still feel a little overwhelming for him at times. He is a timid lad who can be wary of unfamiliar people, fast movements and busy environments so will need a quiet home with adults only. He also finds other dogs quite overwhelming and will need guidance with socialisation and learning how to feel more comfortable around them and will need to wear his muzzle while out on a walk, which he has made lots of progress with. Due to this he needs to be the only pet in his forever home. Bilberry's ideal home would be one that understands nervous dogs and is committed to helping him continue his journey.
