Little Bingo was found as a small puppy all alone, and then he was adopted but the home turned out to not be suitable for a young active Podenco boy. Bingo is a real Podenco - curious, with a strong instinct to track and chase butterflies, grasshoppers, anything moving that catches his attention! He is very clever and learns really fast, things like "here", "sit" are very easy for him and he also loves training exercises for obedience, agility and tricks training. On one hand it will be important to provide him with sufficient physical exercise, on the other hand it will be important to train the ability to listen, focus and to slow down with him, and for that reason we do not recommend playing fetch with dogs that already have a high prey-drive, but rather to concetrate training on searching, nose work, agility & tricks or obedience training, teaching the otherwise quick dog to focus. Bingo is very lovely with humans, though of course he can be a bit shy in a new situation, he very quickly adjust. And he loves snacks, so it is easy and pleasant to work with him. Bingo is definitely looking for a Podenco-experienced home, and he wishes to have an older Podenco (or similar breed) brother or sister at home. His home would preferably have a very secured outdoors space. His shoulder height is 36cm at the time of writing.
