Breed: Siberian Husky Incrociato Età: 3 anni 6 mesi circa Cali è un giovane incrocio di Husky che ci è arrivata per nessuna colpa sua... è arrivata con sua sorella, che poi è stata riammessa in famiglia. Purtroppo il padrone ha realizzato che aveva preso su più di quanto potesse gestire prendendo le sorelle come cuccioli, oltre a già avere 2 cani e 3 gatti in casa. Purtroppo Cali non riceveva il tempo e l'attenzione che necessitava e trascorreva molto tempo in cucina - ora che Cali è matura, ha sviluppato un certo disprezzo per uno dei cani più piccoli e per i gatti. Da quando è con noi, abbiamo lavorato sul suo addestramento e ora cammina bene al guinzaglio indossando il collare per testa. Sembra abbastanza intelligente e desiderosa di piacere... quindi un addestramento continuo sarebbe utile. Avrà bisogno di qualcuno che dedichi molto tempo a lei. Il suo tempo da sola dovrà essere costruito gradualmente, poiché ha sempre avuto compagnia. È affettuosa e "sorride" alle persone per salutare! L'abbiamo riammessa Cali ma purtroppo è stata restituita. Cali è nota per mostrare tendenze gelose e/o possessive intorno "alle sue persone", per questo pensiamo che sarebbe adatta a qualcuno che vive da solo e può lavorare con lei uno a uno. Crediamo anche che Cali abbia bisogno di essere l'unico animale in casa.

Breed: Siberian Husky Crossbreed Age: 3 Year 6 Months Approx Cali is a young Husky crossbreed who originally came to us through no fault of her own… she came to us with her Sister, Who has since been rehomed. Sadly their owner realised that they had bitten off more than they could chew by taking on the Sisters as puppies, as well as already having 2 existing dogs and 3 cats in the home. Sadly Cali wasn’t receiving the time and attention that she needed and was spending a lot of the time in the kitchen – now that Cali had matured, she had taken a bit of a dislike to one of the smaller dogs and the cats. Since she has been with us, we have worked on her training and she will now walk nicely on a lead wearing her head collar. She does seem quite clever, and keen to please…so continued training would be beneficial. She will need somebody with a lot of time to dedicate to her. Her time alone will need to be built up, as she’s always had company. She’s affectionate, and ‘smiles’ at people to say hello! We did rehome Cali but sadly she was returned. Cali has been known to display jealous and/or possessive tendencies around ‘her people’ which is why we think she would be suited to somebody who lives alone and can work with her one on one. We also believe that Cali would need to be the only pet in the home.
