Adoptar a Cali

Raza: Cría de Husky Siberiano Edad: 3 años 6 meses aproximadamente Cali es una cría de husky siberiano que originalmente llegó a nosotros sin culpa propia... llegó con su hermana, quien ya ha sido rehomed. Lamentablemente su dueño se dio cuenta de que había tomado más de lo que podía manejar al adoptar a las hermanas como cachorros, además de tener ya 2 perros existentes y 3 gatos en el hogar. Lamentablemente Cali no recibía el tiempo y atención que necesitaba y pasaba mucho tiempo en la cocina - ahora que Cali ha madurado, ha tenido cierta aversión hacia uno de los perros más pequeños y los gatos. Desde que está con nosotros, hemos trabajado en su adiestramiento y ahora camina bien con la correa usando su collar de cabeza. Parece bastante inteligente y dispuesta a complacer ... por lo tanto, un adiestramiento continuo sería beneficioso. Necesitará a alguien con mucho tiempo para dedicarle. Su tiempo solo debe incrementarse gradualmente, ya que siempre ha tenido compañía. Es cariñosa y "sonríe" a la gente para saludar. Rehogamos a Cali pero lamentablemente fue devuelta. A Cali se le ha conocido mostrar tendencias celosas y/o posesivas alrededor de "sus personas", por eso creemos que sería adecuada para alguien que vive solo y puede trabajar con ella uno a uno. También creemos que Cali necesitaría ser el único animal doméstico en el hogar.

Breed: Siberian Husky Crossbreed Age: 3 Year 6 Months Approx Cali is a young Husky crossbreed who originally came to us through no fault of her own… she came to us with her Sister, Who has since been rehomed. Sadly their owner realised that they had bitten off more than they could chew by taking on the Sisters as puppies, as well as already having 2 existing dogs and 3 cats in the home. Sadly Cali wasn’t receiving the time and attention that she needed and was spending a lot of the time in the kitchen – now that Cali had matured, she had taken a bit of a dislike to one of the smaller dogs and the cats. Since she has been with us, we have worked on her training and she will now walk nicely on a lead wearing her head collar. She does seem quite clever, and keen to please…so continued training would be beneficial. She will need somebody with a lot of time to dedicate to her. Her time alone will need to be built up, as she’s always had company. She’s affectionate, and ‘smiles’ at people to say hello! We did rehome Cali but sadly she was returned. Cali has been known to display jealous and/or possessive tendencies around ‘her people’ which is why we think she would be suited to somebody who lives alone and can work with her one on one. We also believe that Cali would need to be the only pet in the home.
