17-04-26 Cassy è una dolce ragazza che ci è arrivata da un allevatore e sta ancora costruendo la sua fiducia. Può essere un po' incerta all'inizio e trova rassicurazione nella compagnia di altri cani. Avrà bisogno di almeno un altro cane gentile e sicuro nel suo nuovo ambiente, che possa guidarla e darle la fiducia necessaria mentre si abitua. Cassy non ha mai vissuto in casa prima, quindi i suoi adottatori dovranno essere pazienti e comprensivi mentre impara tutto sul potty training e come camminare al guinzaglio. Iniziando con esplorazioni gentle nel giardino e momenti tranquilli all'esterno, la aiuterà a abituarsi gradualmente al mondo intorno a lei. Questa bella ragazza cerca semplicemente qualcuno disposto a prendere una chance su di lei, offrendole l'amore, la pazienza e la rassicurazione necessarie per veramente prosperare. Cassy è arrivata con il "occhio di ciliegia" nell'occhio destro che è stato chirurgicamente riparato al momento della sua sterilizzazione. Sta inoltre ricevendo trattamento per congiuntivite. Ha avuto un'igienizzazione dentale con l'estrazione di un dente e i nostri veterinari hanno notato che un altro dente ha la radice leggermente esposta, ma hanno consigliato che non venga estratto per il momento e venga monitorato in futuro. Cassy is a sweet girl who has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to start her next chapter. She can be a little overwhelmed by new situations and may be unsure initially, but with time, love and patience she is already showing just how much progress she can make. Cassy briefly moved into a foster home and was settling in wonderfully before sadly having to return to the rescue centre when her cherry eye recurred and required further surgical repair. Since then, she has continued to make positive strides and is growing in confidence every day. Cassy relies heavily on other dogs for comfort and reassurance, so she will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her and provide support as she continues to learn about life in a home environment. Although Cassy had never lived in a home before her foster home, and she proved herself to be fully housetrained and adapted well to her new surroundings. Her adopters will still need to be patient and understanding as she continues to build confidence and learn about the world around her and may need reminders in her new home regarding house training. Cassy has also started her lead-walking journey. She has been out on a lead several times and was beginning to enjoy her walks, so her new family can continue to build on this progress at a pace that suits her. She has met cats and was very good with them, so could potentially live alongside a feline friend, with sensible introductions. She has also met children and appeared a little wary, so any children in her new home must be older dog savvy teens, and should be calm, patient and understanding of her gentle nature. This lovely girl is simply looking for someone willing to take a chance on her, offering the love, patience and reassurance she needs to truly thrive. In return, you'll have the privilege of watching her blossom into the happy, confident dog she is meant to be. Cassy has had her cherry eye repaired, which has recently popped back out, but is too small to repair, and has also been treated for conjunctivitis. She has had a dental with one tooth extracted, and our vets have noted that one other tooth has a slightly exposed root. This does not require removal at present but should be monitored by her future veterinary team. Cassy has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog. This dog can be homed with cats.
