Drax is a lovely boy with lots of potential, and with time, patience, and ongoing support, he will make a wonderful companion. His new family will need to visit him at the centre a few times to build a bond and learn how best to support him as he settles into home life. Draw will need wear a muzzle on his walks and is making great progress with plenty of tasty treats and positive reinforcement. He would thrive in a quiet, adult only home with few visitors, ideally in a peaceful area with limited foot traffic and dogs passing by. Drax will need access to a secure garden where he can relax and enjoy sniffing around at his own pace. He may be able to live with a calm, confident dog following successful introductions, as canine companionship could help boost his confidence. He has previously been housetrained and comfortable being left for short periods, although this should be built up gradually in his new home. Drax may be able to lives with cats in his new home after a steady introduction.
