Yes, conditionally - Potentially suitable to live with securely housed small pets. Additional information Currently, Gigi isn’t comfortable meeting dogs out on walks. She will often try to avoid other dogs, but may bark or back away if they continue into her space, particularly if they approach too quickly. We feel Gigi has the potential to make friends again in the future, as she has previously enjoyed spending time with a dog friend. We would recommend gradual introductions and parallel walks once she has settled into her new home, giving her time to build her confidence at her own pace. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? On site, Gigi has been a little shy around unfamiliar people. Once she gets to know you, she enjoys a fuss and a cuddle. However, Gigi is an independent dog and will take herself away once she has had enough of the attention. Gigi has lived with children in her previous home and was described as being really good with them. With her independent nature in mind, we feel that if she were to live with children again, she would be best suited to older children aged 11+ who can understand when she needs some space. What type of environment would suit me? Gigi will need her new home to have its own secure, private garden. She really enjoys spending time in the garden, where she can take herself out and stretch her legs. About Gigi Gigi is a wonderful Shepherd lady who absolutely adores her people—especially when there are plenty of butt rubs involved! She loves exploring on sniffy walks through woodland, around lakes and across lovely green spaces. Gigi also really enjoys training and is eager to learn, making her a joy to work with. With the right introductions, she could potentially have some calm walking friends in the future. Gigi is a lovely girl with so much to offer her special people.
