Gitana è stata consegnata da lui insieme a Flamenca e Bailaor. Non era più utile per lui, stava occupando spazio per altri cani più giovani. Così l'ha passata a uno dei nostri canili partner. Gitana si è adattata molto bene al cambiamento. È una ragazza felice e sicura che affronta ogni cosa con facilità. È buffa e spiritosa ed è estremamente amabile. Adora le persone e stare con loro. Ama i suoi momenti di gioco in cui può correre nel grande recinto con gli altri cani. È molto in forma e sana a 10 anni e al momento non mostra segni di rallentamento, come tanti altri cani! Sarebbe un'ottima aggiunta per molte famiglie - potrebbe convivere con altri cani o sarebbe felice anche come cane unico. Essendo molto sicura e focalizzata sugli umani, non abbiamo molti limiti sul tipo di casa in cui potrebbe vivere poiché è molto versatile. Gitana è castrata, vaccinata e ha dato esito negativo per tutte le malattie mediterranee escluso Babesia - come già detto ha dato esito positivo e sta ricevendo trattamento per questa, quindi possiamo effettuare un nuovo test per verificare la completa guarigione. Gitana was handed over by her hunter alongside Flamenca and Bailaor. No longer of use to him, she was taking up space for other, younger dogs. So he passed her over to one of our partner kennels where she spent a couple of months before making her journey to the UK. Gitana has adpated very well to all changes thrown her way - first the shelter in Spain, then the move to the UK where she settled in incredibly quickly. She is a happy, confident girl who takes everything in her stride. She is funny and goofy and incredibly loving. She really loves people and being around them. She loves her play times and engaging with other dogs. She is very fit and healthy at 9 years old and isn’t currently showing signs of slowing down, like so many other pods! She would make a lovely addition to many families - she could live with other dogs, or would also happily live as an only dog. She is great out and about on her walks even next to busy roads with buses and emergency vehicles, sleeps through the night, eats well, is clean in the house, has been left for a couple of hours without issue. As she is super confident and human focused, we also don’t have many restrictions on the type of home she could live is as she is very versatile. Her foster describes her as ‘an absolute Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way!’ - what more can we say! Gitana is neutered, vaccinated and has now tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases, after initially testing positive for Babesia - for which she received treatment and now has the all clear.
