Jelly-bean è una cagna husky di 14 anni che è arrivata nel nostro affidamento come randagia. Si è adattata molto bene, facendo amicizia con i volontari e i nuovi assistenti. È una signora indipendente che ama prendere l'iniziativa. Ha buone maniere al guinzaglio e canta volentieri la canzone del suo popolo lungo il percorso. Le piace esplorare e affronta tutto con facilità. Jelly-bean ha effettuato l'esame medico e si è riscontrata una malattia degenerativa agli occhi. La buona notizia è che non soffre e può vivere una vita felice. La sua vista è limitata ma utilizza bene gli altri sensi per cavarsela bene. È una ragazza vivace e non ha problemi a prendere una palla (ovviamente a suoi termini). Jelly-bean richiederà un bagno quotidiano per evitare grovigli e accumulo del pelo. Vorremmo che Jelly-bean vivesse in una casa dove le persone hanno conoscenza delle razze del nord. Crediamo che sia più adatta a una casa con bambini di età 16+ a causa della sua vista e della sua età. Una casa movimentata e rumorosa sarebbe troppo per lei. Dopo un ulteriore assessment abbiamo deciso che Jelly-bean preferirebbe una casa senza cani. Può fare passeggiate con cani calmi e godersi avventure. Jelly-bean è stata testata con i gatti e ha superato il test, quindi potrebbe convivere con un gatto esperto dei cani. Jelly-bean non merita di essere senza tetto nei suoi anni d'oro, merita amore e comodità domestiche.

Jelly-bean is a 14 year old husky girl who arrived in our care as a stray. She has settled in lovely, making friends with volunteers and her new carers. She is an independent lady who likes to take the lead. She has good lead manners and will happily sing the song of her people along the way. She loves to explore and takes everything in her stride. Jelly-bean had her medical examination and it was found that she has a degenerative disease in her eyes. The good news is she is not any pain and can live a happy life. Her vision is limited but she uses her other senses well enough to get along fine. She is a playful girl and has no problems catching a ball (on her terms obviously). Jelly-bean will require daily grooming of her coat to avoid matting and build up. We would like jelly-bean to live in home where the humans have knowledge of the northern breed. We feel she would be best suited to a home with children age 16+ due to her vision and age. A busy noisy home would be to much for her. After further assessment we have decided that Jelly-bean would prefer a canine free home. She is able to go on walks with calm dog friends and enjoy adventures. Jelly-bean has been cat tested and passed so would potentially be able to live with a dog savvy cat. Jelly-bean doesn’t deserve to be homeless her in her golden years of life, she deserves love and home comforts.
