Breed: Labrador Incrociato Età: 1 Anno circa Joey è un bell'ultimo ragazzo che è venuto da noi per il reinserimento a causa di una cucciolata non pianificata che non ha trovato una casa, è arrivato con suo fratello, Bear. È un incrocio di razze... sua madre è un incrocio tra Labrador e Husky e suo padre è un cane straniero di taglia media in adozione. È leggermente più piccolo di Bear. Purtroppo Joey non era mai stato portato a spasso quindi non aveva alcuna socializzazione con altri cani, tranne i diversi cani della sua precedente casa... può essere rumoroso quando vede un altro cane durante le passeggiate, ma crediamo che sia semplicemente che non sa come reagire - lo abbiamo presentato a diversi cani nella nostra cura e dopo la vocalizzazione iniziale è andato bene. Siamo sicuri che con una routine, uscite regolari e tanta formazione farà un fantastico compagno! È intelligente e sembra disposto a piacere. Joey è molto affettuoso con le persone, si eccita molto - un tipico cucciolo! Adora un abbraccio! Ha convissuto con bambini e potrebbe andare in una nuova casa con bambini over 5 anni. Joey è ancora molto un cucciolo nella sua mente... non aveva mai avuto formazione, ma abbiamo iniziato a insegnargli le basi! Sarà divertente, ma avrà bisogno anche di un buon lavoro con la sua formazione e socializzazione. Joey ha trovato una casa, ma purtroppo è tornato dopo 3 settimane, a causa della sua ansia da separazione in casa. Gli era difficile rilassarsi senza tutte "le sue persone" presenti, e se lasciato solo continuava a saltare alle porte/finestre. Avrà bisogno di una casa dove le persone sono presenti la maggior parte del tempo, e potrebbe essere meglio vivere con un altro cane per compagnia - ma dipenderà dal incontro con un cane.

Breed: Labrador Crossbreed Age: 1 Year Approx Joey is a lovely young lad who came to us for rehoming due to being part of an unplanned litter that didn’t find a home, he came in with his Brother, Bear. He’s a mix of breeds… his Mum is a Labrador/Husky mix, and his Dad is a medium sized foreign rescue. He is slightly smaller than Bear. Unfortunately Joey had never been walked so didn’t have any socialisation with dogs, apart from the several dogs in his previous home… he can be vocal when he see’s another dog out on walks, but we feel that this is simply that he doesn’t know how to react – we have introduced him to several dogs here in our care and he has been find after the initial vocalisation. We are confident that with a routine, regular outings and plenty of training he will make a fantastic companion! He’s clever and seems keen to please. Joey is very affectionate with people, he gets very excited – a typical puppy! He loves a cuddle! He has lived with children and could go to a new home with children over 5yrs. Joey is still very much a puppy in his brain… he’s hadn’t had any training, but we have started to teach him the basics! He will be good fun, but will also need a fair amount of work with his training and socialisation. Joey did find a home, but sadly he was returned after 3wks, due to his separation anxiety in the home. He found it difficult to settle without all of ‘his people’ present, and if left alone he would continually jump up at the doors/windows. He will need a home where people are around majority of the time, and he may be better living with another dog for company – but this would depend on a dog meeting.
