She arrived with a family who were looking for a companion for their autistic son, recommended to have a dog that could bring him calm and company. Over time, the family realized that raising a puppy requires dedication, energy, and time, which is difficult to balance with their son’s specific needs. Born in April 2025, this female German Shepherd mix is still a puppy full of potential. Adopted as a puppy by a family with good intentions, she returned to the shelter due to a lack of time to meet the canine education needs of a young puppy. Accustomed to life in a home, she travels well by car and is okay with children. The shelter is stressful for her, but volunteers are working on her socialization, leash walking, and the basics of positive education. She is making progress every day. She is an intelligent, sensitive, and affectionate dog who will need a calm, patient, and engaged family ready to offer her exercise, stability, and consistency. With love and consistency, she will become a balanced and faithful companion. She is waiting for a home to reveal her full potential. Lulu sounds interesting? Elle est arrivée chez une famille qui cherchait un compagnon pour leur fils autiste, suite à la recommandation d'avoir un chien qui puisse lui apporter du calme et de la compagnie. Au fil du temps, la famille a compris que l'éducation d'un chiot exige du dévouement, de l'énergie et du temps, chose difficilement compatible avec les besoins spécifiques de leur fils. Née en avril 2025, cette femelle croisée Berger Allemand est encore un chiot plein de potentiel. Adoptée bébé par une famille pleine de bonnes intentions, elle est revenue au refuge faute de temps pour répondre aux besoins d’éducation canine qu’exige un jeune chien. Habituée à la vie en maison, elle voyage bien en voiture et est OK enfants Le refuge est stressant pour elle, mais les bénévoles travaillent sa socialisation, la marche en laisse et les bases d’une éducation positive. Elle progresse chaque jour. C’est une chienne intelligente, sensible et affectueuse, qui aura besoin d’une famille calme, patiente et engagée, prête à lui offrir exercice, repères et stabilité.
