Over time, the family realized that raising a puppy requires dedication, energy, and time, which is difficult to balance with their son’s specific needs. Born in April 2025, this female German Shepherd mix is still a puppy full of potential. Adopted as a puppy by a family with good intentions, she returned to the shelter due to a lack of time to meet the canine education needs of a young puppy. Accustomed to life in a home, she travels well by car and is okay with children. The shelter is stressful for her, but volunteers are working on her socialization, leash walking, and the basics of positive education. She is making progress every day. She is an intelligent, sensitive, and affectionate dog who will need a calm, patient, and engaged family ready to offer her exercise, stability, and consistency.
