Questa splendida ragazza è stata originariamente salvata dalle strade della Macedonia. È stata adottata e si è trasferita nel Regno Unito diversi anni fa. Purtroppo, negli anni in casa sua ha sviluppato reattività e la famiglia l'ha restituita a noi. La sua ansia e la conseguente reattività erano abbastanza gravi e, per darle le migliori possibilità di un nuovo inizio, abbiamo trovato un centro di riabilitazione dove è rimasta per diversi mesi. C'è stato un miglioramento ma è stato quando è stata trasferita al Sakima's Sanctuary a Blackpool a Poulton le Fylde che ha davvero iniziato a guadagnare fiducia. Il meraviglioso personale del santuario ha lavorato molto con lei e i risultati sono fantastici - è quasi una cane diversa! Luna è ora pronta a trovare la sua casa per sempre con qualcuno che sia dedicato a continuare il suo addestramento e sostenerla. Luna è un bellissimo, sano e molto intelligente Border Collie. È una brava coccolona che ama usare il cervello e adora l'agilità, l'addestramento all'obbedienza e lunghe passeggiate con le persone a cui si fida. Ha bisogno di spazio e comprensione e l'adottatore deve essere consapevole della sua reattività e dell'importanza dell'addestramento e della gestione continua per proseguire il suo sviluppo positivo. Questa gioia è dolce e un piccolo ballerino divertente che cammina con passi felici e orgogliosi in ogni movimento. È eccitata e salta su e sembra volere tanta attenzione ma non è così, è solo felice di vederti, un leggero solletico al mento e una brava ragazza è ciò che le piace. Non sa come comportarsi con tanta attenzione fisica e questo la rende insicura, quindi è importante non sovraccaricarla. È una ragazza dolce ma ha bisogno di qualcuno con buon senso e comprensione. A causa del suo passato ha bisogno di tempo per riscaldarsi con le nuove persone e può essere un po' cauta in ambienti nuovi, ma la fiducia nei suoi umani la aiuta a gestirlo. Per questo saranno necessari molti incontri e un legame prima di portare questa meravigliosa ragazza a casa. Le piace l'affetto dolce sui suoi termini ma non è una cuscino-bug - anzi, è contenta di stare da sola. Luna ha fatto un lungo cammino e la sua reattività verso altri cani è migliorata enormemente. Ha anche costruito amicizia con uno degli altri cani nel santuario e ama andare a passeggio insieme a lui. Ora va molto bene anche nelle passeggiate in aree tranquille in generale e mentre prima aveva paura della macchina, ora ama andare in giro in auto, sapendo che è molto divertente esplorare nuovi posti con le persone a cui si fida. La casa ideale per Luna sarà una famiglia calma e composta, con persone che apprezzano le passeggiate in aree rurali, l'addestramento e attività come l'agilità e gli esercizi mentali. Con molti incontri e introduzione graduale può vivere con un altro cane, ma la casa ideale sarà come cane unico. Sterilizzata, vaccinata e microchippata

This gorgeous girl was originally rescued from the streets of Macedonia. She was adopted and travelled to the UK several years ago. Sadly over the years in her home she developed reactivity and the family returned her to us. Her anxiety and resulting reactivity was quite severe and to give her the best possibilities for a new beginning we found a rehab centre where she stayed for several months. There was improvement but it was when she was moved to Sakima’s Sanctuary in Blackpool at Poulton le Fylde that she really began gaining confidence. The lovely staff at the sanctuary have worked so hard with her and the results are amazing – she is like a different dog! Luna is now ready to find her forever home with someone who is dedicated to continue training and supporting her. Luna is a beautiful, healthy and very intelligent Border Collie. She is a clever cookie who really enjoys using her brain and loves agility, obedience training and long walks with the people she trusts. Her need for space and understanding is high and her adopter must be aware of her reactivity and the importance of ongoing training and management to continue her positive development. This bundle of joy is lovely and a funny little tapdancer who walks with happy feet and pride in each step. She is giddy and jumps up and seems like she wants a lot of attention but she does not, she’s just happy to see you, a little chin tickle and a good girl is what she likes. She doesn’t know what to do with lots of physical attention and it makes her insecure, so it is important not to overload her. She is a sweet girl but needs someone with good common sense and understanding. Because of her past she needs time to warm up to new people, and she can be a bit weary in new surroundings, but the trust in her humans helps her cope. Hence multiple meets and bonding will be needed before taking this wonderful girl home. She likes gentle affection on her terms but is not a cuddle bug – on the contrary she is quite happy to be on her own. Luna has come a very long way and her reactivity towards other dogs has improved immensely. She has even built friendship with one of the other dogs at the sanctuary and likes going for walks together with him. She is now also doing really well on walks in quiet areas in general and while she used to be afraid of the car, she has come to love going for drives, knowing that it is so much fun to go to explore new places with the people she trusts. The ideal home for Luna will be a calm, adult only family, with people who will enjoy walks in rural surroundings, training and activities like agility and mental exercises. With multiple meets and gradual introduction she can be with another dog, but the ideal home will be as an only dog. Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped
