L'unico effetto duraturo è che a volte fatica a saltare su mobili alti, anche se è sempre determinata a provarci e spesso ci riesce. Luna ha alcuni problemi comportamentali che la nuova famiglia dovrebbe conoscere. Non è adatta a vivere con gatti e può essere reattiva verso altri cani, biciclette, auto e altri oggetti in movimento durante le passeggiate. Ama i giocattoli ma è un'entusiasta masticatrice e può distruggere la maggior parte dei giocattoli morbidi in pochi minuti. Inoltre, a volte fa i bisogni in casa. Dato che attualmente trascorre lunghi periodi in gabbia con pochissima stimolazione o esercizio, è probabile che questi comportamenti possano migliorare una volta che riceverà passeggiate regolari, arricchimento e molte attenzioni in una casa più attiva. Luna – Bognor Regis Female, tweenie Chocolate and tan c.6-7 years old Not neutered You may remember the beautiful Luna, who came into our care following a request for help from another rescue charity. We’re delighted to share that after spending the last two weeks in her foster home, Luna is now ready to begin the search for her forever family. Luna has settled wonderfully into family life and has quickly shown what a loving and affectionate girl she is. She adores being around her people, loves curling up in her cosy bed, and enjoys playing with her toys. She is crate trained, settles well when left, and can comfortably be on her own for up to four hours. While Luna has adapted well to home life, she has found living alongside the resident dachshunds a little challenging. Although this may be influenced by her hormones, we currently feel she would be happiest as the only dog in the home. Outside of the home, Luna enjoys her walks, walks nicely on lead, and is not reactive towards other dogs she meets. Luna has recently undergone a veterinary check. She has a heart murmur, which will continue to be monitored, and it is believed that she has recently had puppies. She will be spayed when the time is right for her health and wellbeing. This procedure will be fully funded by The Red Foundation and Kim’s Home for Elderly and Abused Dogs, who have also very generously donated £300 towards her spay costs. Luna is a truly lovely girl looking for a loving home of her own. While we may not know much about her past, we do have the opportunity to make an enormous difference to her future.
